Janie had a big weekend. It all started on Friday at the football game (see previous post) then she experienced her first cheerleading competition on Saturday. The picture shows her in the stands with all the OCHS fans! She did pretty well..it was a little loud for her, but as long as a team was performing, she was happy. She just didn't like the wait time between teams!
She attended church again on Sunday and let Pastor Hoard hold her this time! So sweet!
Then after church she went to Grandma/Grandpas! She just laughs and laughs at her grandpa. It is quite funny. He just looks at her and she smiles from ear to ear! So cute!!!
And just for fun, here is a picture of her not smiling! Janie does have a little temper too--proof is in the picture! Too funny!!

Hello!
First let me say congratulations to you on becoming Janie's Mom! She is such a cutie pie!
A friend of mine who adopted their first from China and are now adopting from Taiwan told me about your blog and I'd love to contact you per your agency. My name is MaryHelen, I adopted my precious daughter from China in Jan, 2007. She's almost 4yrs old and is the light of my life! I truly would love for her to have a sister and thus am interested in your agency as I'd love to adopt from Taiwan and I'm single. Could you please contact me? Sorry to put this in your comments, but I don't see another way to contact you. Could you please contact me at mdonnelly@nyiso.com? Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Hi, my name is Kim and we've been in process to adopt from China for 2 years. We saw your blog from chinaadopttalk and saw that you switched to another agency/country-Taiwan. Would you mind emailing us? We are seeking God's will and are longing to have our daughter one day soon. We are praying for open doors and were starting to look into Taiwan. Your blog got me so excited!

Hi Tonya,
Congratulations on your new daughter. She is beautiful and truly a gift from God. I am an English teacher in Pennsylvania and a single Mom of a daughter adopted in China back in 2005. She is my blessing. Like MH I would also love to adopt a sister for my daughter and would love to get more information from you. Would you mind sharing more of your experiences with me and passing on more information? Thank you so much. JoLynch60@hotmail.com

So glad to have found your blog (through RQ) again. I was reading last year when you lost your Viet Nam referral and am happy that Taiwan worked out for you.
We have been home almost a year with our daughter from Viet Nam. I was not convinced it would happen until the very end. It was such a stressful time and I can only imagine what you went through.
