Happy Day!

Happy Day today! My agency case worker is in Taiwan right now helping to spread the ministry and let the women in south Taiwan know of the birth home. She sent me a few pictures and some updates on my little Love Bug's personality! My heart is full of love right now :) :)

Still praying for the judge's ruling! I cannot wait to meet my daughter.....

Lord, thank you for the update today. I can feel Your presence in this journey. I trust in You and follow You. I pray You lead me to my child in Your perfect timing. Amen.

OK--I'm ready!

OK Mr./Mrs. Taiwan judge-I'm ready.....

1. I've spent the last few weeks de-cluttering my house.
2. My carpets are set to be cleaned tomorrow.
3. I'm having a garage sale this weekend to get rid of all my extra "junk".
4. I have everything ready for the nursery.
5. I begin school again very soon and my classroom will be in order and ready for my absence.
6. The cheerleading program is all under the control of my wonderful coaching staff.
7. I am emotionally ready to be a mom!
8. I am spiritually ready to be a mom!
9. I've been waiting over 2 years and 7 months - I'M BEYOND READY!!!

This is all I need:
1. I need my first ruling
2. I need my second/final ruling
3. I need travel approval
4. I need to hold my beautiful baby in my arms!

Lord, Thank you for all the blessings you have given me in my life. I pray that I hear from my agency soon. I pray that the Taiwan judge makes this adoption case a priority and issues the first ruling soon. It has been almost 7 weeks since my court hearing and I am anxious to hear good news soon. Lord thank you for bringing this baby girl into my life. I am completley in love with her and cannot wait to hold her, smell her, kiss her, love her. I pray that with your guidance I will raise her to be an amazing woman. Lord, hold her in your loving arms and let her feel your presence each day. Lord, please continue to move this adoption in the right direction-smoothly and quickly. Amen.

Happy 5 months baby girl

My little Love Bug was born on Valentine's Day of this year so she is 5 months old today! Oh how I wish I was with her to hold her and celebrate with her! In her short 5 months she has been thru so much and already improved the world so much! I am so in love with her--can't wait to hold her! Come on Taiwan courts--bring us together soon. I'm sending you love across the miles-enjoy your day baby girl!

Yep! Ladybugs are good luck!

Yep, the lady bug sightings were good luck-- I got new pictures this week. It's always such a thrill to see my baby girl's beautiful face! Come on courts......

Lady Bugs everywhere!!

I keep seeing lady bugs everywhere. Lady bug jewelry, shirts, shoes, pictures, hearing others speak of them, etc....

Is it a sign that good things are to come with the adoption...I hope so.

Of course it is summertime and lady bugs go with summer--but lady bugs also signal good luck in the adoption world--so maybe......hmmm

My biggest prayers right now:

1. That all the orphans of the world feels God's love and presence while they wait for thier forever families.

2. God provides smooth and safe travels to those families traveling to thier babies.

3. Peaceful waits for those families still waiting for paperwork, referrals, or travel approval.

Happy Birthday Bailey!

My beautiful "short-haired" baby turned 13 years old today! Bailey is my Siberian Husky who I have loved since she was 8 weeks old. I say "short-haired" because I just had her her shaved for the first time ever....I know some say you should not shave a Husky--but she LOVES it!! She seems so much happier now....

She is my constant companion and I cannot wait to introduce her to my daughter! Of course, Bailey will probably not be too thrilled since she won't be the "#1 baby" anymore---yikes!

Anyways, Happy 13th Birthday--you are a teenager now (in people years at least). 91 in doggy years-wow!

100% PURE LOVE

There is nothing cuter than baby fingers and baby toes!!! Oh I can't wait to kiss all over them!!!!
