Made it to LAX

We made it to LAX safely and are now waiting for our flight to TAIPEI to start boarding!! We are coming baby girl!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the continued prayers and thoughts. We can feel the love surrounding us all the way!!

Next time we update....we will be in TAIWAN!!! 

We're on our way!!

Not much to report so far. We are currently sitting at the Atlanta airport waiting to board the plane. We have received so many phone calls and texts the past few days and this morning......it is so nice to know so many people are with us on this journey!

Can't wait to meet my daughter and introduce her to all of you!!!!

I can't sleep!

Well it is 4:00am and I am awake. Of course surfing the internet probably isn't helping any :)

I'm just so excited--my heart is racing and I've got nervous energy!!! I'm getting so close to my baby girl!!!!

I feel so blessed to finally be typing these words. I have given this entire adoption journey over to the Lord and I trust in Him to complete this journey!! 

Now, I really need to try to get some sleep!!! It may be a while before I sleep much again (Ha Ha)

September 12....That's the day I leave to meet my daughter!

So much to do! So little time! WOW!!

Thank you Lord! I promise to always cherish this wonderful child!

Taiwan, Here I Come!!!!

I cannot believe I am actually typing these words....

My AIT appointment is Sept. 18--so I will soon be headed to Taiwan to finally meet my daughter. I cannot wait to hold my little Love Bug. What a blessing, what a gift!

I will update soon with exact travel plans!

Good news today!

Hooray! I got great news today with the adoption. The typhoon put some delay in the process but it is moving forward again! Hopefully I will be traveling soon! Thank you to everyone for the prayers, well-wishes, and happy thoughts. It is so wonderful to be surrounded by such support!! I have met some amazing people along this adoption journey--made some life-long friends! And my family have been such a blanket of warmth and support. I see light at the end of the tunnel.
