Strawberry Picking!

Janie is a part of the Asian Children Mentor Program (ACMP) at the University of Georgia. It is a great program that matches Asian college students with adopted children in the Athens area. They help teach our kids about Asian culture/traditions and they host lots of fun events for all of us to get together and enjoy each other's company. Today's event was Strawberry picking!!

Janie enjoyed it! Let's just say, she really enjoyed eating the strawberries more than picking them. Mommy and Janie were covered in sticky red juice by the end!!!

At first Janie only wanted to carry her snacks around and look at everything...

Then she realized what we were looking for-those pretty red strawberries!

I'm looking mommy! I'll find one soon!

Oooh look! I found one!!

Showing my strawberry to one of the UGA Mentors!

Look mommy! I found another one!

I think I'll eat this one! Yummy!

After picking the strawberries, I went to lunch with 2 of my friends!
